Posts: 113 Joined: 06.07.06	Nikkei Ancestry has been doing some Google AdWords [advertising] to bring more interested genealogists and curious Japanese genealogy researchers to Nikkei Ancestry. We get click through hits, but not to many members signing up and those that do sign up are not coming in for the first time, after member verification [email verification]. Advertising can get expensive, and it adds up with Google AdWords. Nikkei Ancestry isn't here to turn a profit, a lot of the maintenance and other out of pocket expense's to maintain the site and start it are voluntary by myself because of my interest in Japanese genealogy. Since the economy isn't doing so well, I've decided to temporarily pull the plug on Google AdWords for this forum, but will keep the current Google AdSense up on this site. It's Kansai-ben according to wiki.. Kishū dialect..

using iPhone app to brush up on Japanese! Have one for Kansai-ben to. Any one know the dialect spoken in Wakayama-ken, do they use Kansai-ben to?
